The North End: Boston, Massachusetts

After grabbing some cannoli in the North End of Boston, Massachusetts, my daughter and I drove by the Old North Church. This painting draws from that photo.

Abstracts and fun putty work!

Here is another abstract I did. The last two photos show some of the three-dimensional work I incorporate into some of my pieces.

Various portraits

Landscape on 3 panels: Safari Scene

This is quite large. I gave it to my step-son, Keith. He is a geologist, so I thought a safari scene would suit him well.

A painting for my daughter...

Here is an abstract I did for my daughter. She hung it above her mantle in her living room.

It has been a while since I have updated!

Here are a couple of framed pieces I've done recently...

Landscape: Villa (and me painting it!)

Here I am in action:

The final product:

Portrait: Children and Apples

Landscape: Plateau

Still Life: Wilted Flowers

If you look at these flowers closely, you can see they contain three-dimensional texture. It is created by modeling clay and thickly layered acrylic paints.

Landscape: Trees

Landscape: Gila Mountains

Landscape: A Fall Scene

Colors chosen for my home. The little boy I painted reminds me of my son. A friend of mine said the mountains look like the ones in El Paso. This piece is quite large and is featured over my couch.

Portrait: My Daughter

This is a portrait I did of my daughter Colleen for Christmas. It is based on her college graduation photo.
